INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Double click the downloaded file, "Oseco-ProSizer101.exe". The self-extracting file will ask which folder you would like to extract to. It is recommended that you type "C:\Program Files\OSECO", and Click OK. This will begin the file extraction, creating the necessary folders. Either Browse to this folder and double click SETUP.EXE to begin installation or click "RUN" on the Start menu and type "C:\Program Files\OSECO\Oseco-Prosizer101\Setup.exe" (if you extracted the files to a different folder, substitute that folder location for "C:\Program Files\OSECO\".
You will be allowed to select a folder in which the program files will be loaded. It is very important for a later step in the installation that you note the location of the folder in which the files are installed. After this installation is complete, follow the following instructions so that the Runtime installation can proceed.
From the Start Menu, select „RUN. Type „C:\Program Files\OSECO\Oseco-Prosizer101\disk 1\setup.exe(or substitute the proper folder according to your extraction). Click „OK to begin installation. When asked to designate the installation folder location, select the folder location used previously by typing it in or by using the browse feature (default folder location is "C:\Program Files\OSECO"). Make sure that there is not „\A5V4 at the end of the selected folder. The program will not operate unless all the files from the ProSizer and Runtime installations are in the same folder.
When asked to insert disk #2, type in „C:\Program Files\OSECO\Oseco-Prosizer101\disk 2 and then click „OK. Type in „C:\Program Files\OSECO\Oseco-Prosizer101\disk 3 when asked for disk #3 and click „OK. If the screen instructions given at the end of the installation recommend restarting the computer, wait until the Arial font problem detailed below is addressed before restarting. A shortcut icon to start the program will be present on the Desktop.
After installing Runtime you might notice that your Arial font is displayed in italics. Unfortunately, there is a bug in the Runtime install program that is overwriting the Arial font. There is an easy solution. Click „Start, „Settings, and „Control Panel. Double click on the fonts folder. Select „Details view. You will notice that the Arial font is incorrectly mapped to another filename, Barusps.ttf. It should be mapped to Arial.ttf. Highlight the Arial font and press the delete key or select delete from the file menu. The Arial font should reappear in the window, this time mapped correctly to Arial.ttf. You should now restart your computer.
